If you’ve been wondering how many Eee PCs were released by Asus it’s first machine came out in 2007, you might want to check out this comparison chart released at the Asus Event site. According to the chart, as of today Asus has released 27 netbooks since the first Eee PC 2G came out.
Those may seem a small number considering that almost every week we hear announcements here and there about new Eee PC releases. And besides, those listed Eee PCs don’t seem to encompass each and every Eee PCs released so far. And it doesn’t seem to include SKU variations of some of the netbooks.
Anyway, the comparison chart is a good way of having a glimpse of how the Eee PC has evolved since time immemorial. And you can easily spot the difference in terms of power and performance.
The Eee PC Comparison Chart is available for download in PDF format at the Asus site.
