Onda Debuts Its Vi40 Elite Android 4.0 Tablet

The Vi40 Elite Android Tablet by the China-based company Onda has recently been released. This tablet, which is the latest in Onda’s array, is equipped with 9.7-inch 1024 x 768-pixel capacitive multi-touch IPS display suited for tasks such as e-mail, browsing, and multimedia playback. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. Processor-wise, it carries a 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A10 and a Mali-400 GPU.
For users on the go, it has 3G and Wi-Fi functionality. It is also integrated with an e-book reader as well as media players for audio and video files, which are capable of handling MP3, WMA, AAC, RM, AVI, among many others. It also supports 2160p Super HD video playback. It likewise has dual cameras, one with 5.0 MP facing the rear and one with 1.3 MP facing the front. Said cameras may be used for taking photos and videos, as well as for making video calls. Recording is also possible via the built-in microphone.
The Onda Vi40 Elite Android Tablet is currently available in 16GB storage capacity for $189 and 8GB capacity for $158. Should it be insufficient, users have the option of expanding it up to 32GB by means of a microSD card.
