Packard Bell rebrands the Aspire 1410 as the Valentino Rossi VR46
Acer is well-known for co-branding its devices with well-known racing names like Ferrari. It now shares the same partnerships with its sub-brand Packard Bell and it’s new Valentino Rossi VR46, a rebrand of the Acer Aspire 1410.
Packard Bell DOT Valentino Rossi VR46
- 11.6″ 1366 x 768 display
- 1.20GHz Intel Celeron SU2300
- 4GB RAM
- 640GB HDD
- 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G (optional)
- HDMI out
- 6-cell battery (8 hour battery life)
I know 1.20GHz isn’t something Mr. Rossi, the famous Grand Prix champion, would be proud of. But hey, it does pack in a huge 640GB drive and a decent 8-hour battery life on it. If you’re into branded gear, you can get this for US$499 soon.
