Pioneer Introduces New 10-inch Tablet

More grist for the mill as the Australian manufacturer, Pioneer, releases a new 10-inch tablet – this time using the Windows OS.

Called the DreamBook ePad F10, it packs a 1.5 GHz Intel Z670 Oak Trail CPU with integrated graphics and a 10 inch mid-resolution multitouch display. It will come with 2GB of RAM and can have up to 128 gigs of SSD storage. It also has access to optional WiFi and 3G. It even has access to the new WIDI wireless display system from Intel, enabling external streaming of your video data.

Additional specs include an HDMI port, a USB port, mic and headphone jacks, a SIM card slot, and a SD card slot. It even has a 1.3MP camera. Though designed for Windows, you can hack it to use Android. The barebones model will be selling for near $500 – expect to pay more for full functionality.
