Polaroid Readying Its Glasses-Free 3D Tablet
After the release of PMID701i from the film and camera maker Polaroid, it seems that the company has plans to add a distinct tablet with glasses-free 3D display in Europe. The news has broadcasted through the British website, Expert Reviews.
The tablet would be having a 10-inch panel on 1024 x 768-pixel resolution. It will run on Android latest platform, Ice Cream Sandwich and will be charged by a 1.5GHz ARM-based processor.
For memory capacity, the tablet will come with a 512 MB of RAM and will go along with 4 GB internal storage and a memory card slot which can handle up to 32 GB. HDMI output is also offered in the tablet that has the ability to play 1080p HD video on external displays.
Polaroid has stated that European traders by that time started acquiring pre-orders for the glasses-free 3D tablet display for 249 Euros or about $328. However, the launch date hasn’t been declared up until now.
