In an earlier post, we showed you how problematic it could be to install Windows 7 on an 8GB SSD-equipped Acer Aspire One: the install goes smoothly until the final step, when installation cannot complete because of the limited storage space. Turns out, there’s a quick and pain-free way to remedy this, and all that’s needed are a few command prompt commands as well as nearly two days of free time.     sounds great that you managed to get it on the 8GB SSD without needing to resort to vlite. Please also let us know what other things you did to improve performance, and how has performance been overall. I just read an encouraging review of it here “http://eeepc.net/review-windows-7-on-the-acer-aspire-one/” but I dont think he was using the 8GB SSD version.
