Reviewed: Asus Eee PC 1001P

Looks like we’re on a roll with reviews today. Another review for you folks, this time for the Asus Eee PC 1001P. This is the little brother of the other new Pine Trail netbooks, the 1005PE and 1008P, and while it doesn’t have the flashiness and power of those netbooks, it does pack a lot of value.

The US$299 netbook can run up to 8.5 hours and has a stylish design. To justify the price, it doesn’t have Bluetooth, no WiFi-N and has a smaller drive than the already standard 250GB, not to mention only packing Windows 7 Starter.
