Samsung Galaxy Note with LTE to Land at Telus Canada

The Canadian telecommunications corporation Telus is the newest carrier to offer Samsung’s Galaxy Note. Dubbed as a device to enable users to capture experiences anywhere, the tablet smartphone from Samsung will soon be launched officially by Telus, although the date and retail price, as per their official website is still unknown. Images of the device, however, have already been put up in the said website.
The device is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. However, users who are interested in the latest, that is, the 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich update, will still be given an option to upgrade it after the launch.
Samsung Galaxy Note is a hybrid between a tablet and a phone. It is equipped with a screen that measures 5.3 inches with a thickness of only 9.65 millimeters. It is also the first to offer High Definition Super AMOLED display for a prime viewing experience.
Input may be given using fingers or the S Pen, a special stylus that allows for fast and precise note-taking or computing. It also comes with several note-oriented and task scheduling apps, although annotation is actually possible on any screen.
Telus, however, is expected to have some competition, as Rogers and Bell, another telecommunications company is also set to launch the Galaxy Note.
