Samsung Gives Netbooks a New SSD with SATA Design
Look whose giving our beloved netbooks some loving. Samsung has just announced its new Solid State Drive (SSD) which is said to be designed with a SATA-interface. This means that the said Samsung SSD can function not only as a primary storage device but also now as a complementary drive for netbooks with dual drive capabilities.
And since it is still an SSD, the said storage device would carry the lesser susceptibility of most SSDs from jarring, jostling and dropping. In short, all the data you store into it are in a safer place.
The said Samsung SSD boasts of a mini-PCI Express form factor with SATA 3.0GB/s interface. It will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacity. You can also have the option to get the SSD will full encryption.
