If you’re an environmental advocate, like we all should be here’s your chance to own a netbook that is sure to be free from any hazardous materials such as mercury.  The Samsung N120 has just gained a TCO certification for being the first netbook to be environment-friendly free of those substances and was deemed energy efficient with an ergonomic keyboard and LCD to boot.

Thanks to the Samsung N120’s LED backlit display, the netbook was tested to be energy efficient by an independent company called Nemko.

Samsung Computer Systems Division VP Kyu Uhm was so proud of this certfication and commits that Samsung will continue to strive harder in making their computers as environment-friendly as possible.

“Samsung’s commitment to the environment is one of our top values and we are constantly trying to develop our products to be qualified for TCO standards,”  - says Kyu Uhm.
