Samsung Unveils its Series 7 NP700G7C Ivy Bridge Laptop

A new Samsung gaming laptop that runs on Ivy Bridge processor has just been unveiled. This model, called the NP700G7C-S01US, has Intel Core i7 Processor 3610QM with a maximum clock speed of 2.30 GHz and a CPU Cache of 6 MB L3.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M Graphics Chip is its graphics chip with a graphics memory of 2 GB of DDR5. The device has a storage capacity of 2TB and has a 16 GB System DDR3 Memory (4x4G).

The screen measures 17.3 inches diagonally, and has a 1920 x 1080-pixel display resolution. Its brightness is up to 400 nit.

It also has a Blu-Ray optical drive, a 4 W Stereo Speaker sub-Woofer, and a 2.0 MP webcam. The laptop has various connectivity options: 802.11 abg/n Wireless LAN, Gigabit Wired Ethernet LAN, WiDi, and Bluetooth v4.0.

Among its ports and jacks are HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 Ports, 2 USB 2.0 Ports, RJ45 (LAN), Headphone Out, Microphone In, and VGA. A 7-in-1 Multi Card Slot is also available for xD, SDHC, SD, MS Pro, MS, MMC plus, and MMC.

Its input devices are a backlit keyboard and a Scroll Scope, Flat Type Touch Pad. Security is also provided by a Kensington Lock Slot anti-theft mechanism.

The Samsung NP700G7C has a price tag of $1,699.99.
