Look whose launching a new netbook in Japan folks?  None other than Sharp with their Mebius NJ70A 10-inch netbook.   At first glance the Sharp Mebius NJ70A may seem your ordinary 10-inch netbook equipped with the usual Atom N270 CPU, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, webcam, and Intel 945GSE Express Chipset.

But wait till you find out that it is also equipped with a 4-inch optical sensor LCD with LED backlight with 854×480 resolution. What this optical sensor LCD is to let you write using your finger or a stylus as it features handwriting recognition. You can also use the LCD to zoom in and out of a document.

No words yet as to when this netbook will be released. But we really envy the staff of Akihabara News for having the priveledge to play around with this new netbook in Japan.
