Smallest Nettop Packs A Big Punch

Yes, that’s an iPhone on Stealth.com’s new nettop. That’s just how the company’s new nettop is. Nettops have been known to be small but this one just takes the cake. The LPC-100 isn’t just small – it also packs a lot of processing power in that small case.

The basic model for it is powered by a dual-core Celeron T3100 at 1.9Ghz, which you can upgrade to a Core 2 Duo T8400 (2.26Ghz) or a T9100 (2.53Ghz). It can also support up to 4 GB of DDR3 memory, with a SATA hookup for 160-500GB hard drives. You can also choose to put in a solid state drive. It also has a surprisingly large amount of ports for such a small case. They include:

  • 2PS/2 ports
  • 2 serial ports
  • 3 USB 2.0 ports
  • VGA or DVI output
  • Gigabit ethernet
  • Microphone and headphone connections

All of this can be operated on 12 volts DC. However, all of this comes at a premium. The base model alone will cost you $1300. That’s understandable though. You can buy something which can probably beat it for much less in terms of processing power, but you won’t be able to hide it in your pants.
