SmarTone Vodafone Launches the Vitesse Netbook

Somewhere in Hong Kong telecoms company SmarTone Vodafone is introducing their own netbook called the Vitesse. This 10-inch netbook is being offered for free to SmarTone customers who will be willing to sign up for a 2 year wireless broadband service agreement.

The SmarTone Vitesse may seem a new netbook but actually it is just a repackaged version of the previously released/announced Onkyo Sotec C204 netbook.

Hence, there’s nothing really fascinating about this netbook in terms of its specs and features. You’d get the following:

• 10.1 inch (1024×600) gloss display
• 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU
• 1 GB RAM
• 16GB SSD
• Wi-Fi
• 3-cell battery (1800maH)
• 7.2mbps HSPA module
