As if its environmental aspect is not enough, the GYY netbook is also made of bioplastics which are bio-degradable materials.

The GYY runs on Linux OS and has a 400MHz processor. It’s 8-9 inch screen boasts of 800×480 resolution. Memory is at 128MB and for storage, the GYY has 65GB Solid State Drive.

The netbook also feature Wi-Fi and Ethernet plus 3 USB ports.

The Iunika GYY netbook will be available soon with a price tag of around $176.

For the price of $176 the 65GB SSD is impossible (even though the source link also mentions it). From the rest of the specs I am guessing that the price is $176 but the SSD is 4GB or less.

Is there anything about battery life or charging from the mains? You can’t count on the sun all the time…

    The SSD is 1gb.
