Sony Crystal Tablet Soon To Be Available?

AT&T get the Sony Crystal tablet in February
A lot of manufacturers in the US are releasing 3G tablets with the help of service providers like AT&T. Some of the big names in this market involves Samsung, HTC, Acer and Pantech. All of these companies released one 3G device within the last six months.

Sony is mysteriously absent in the race since their tablets are Wi-Fi models only in the United States. They already have 3G models of Tablet S and Tablet P in Japan. There are rumors that Sony will be soon releasing a 3G tablet code named, Crystal, in the United States.

Not much has been revealed about the tablet’s hardware but it is believed to be restricted to HSPA+networks. Strange, since cheap tablets implement AT&T’s LTE data speed.

The leak reports also say that the tablet will be available on the first quarter of this year. 18th of February was believed to be the release date with a $409.99 price tag. This price will also include the two-year subscription contract.
