After releasing its first official netbook, the Sony Vaio W, Sony is following it up with another one this time with a bigger display. Sony has just announced its ultra-thin netbook – the Sony Vaio X featuring an 11.1-inch display.

And probably taking a cue from Nokia’s 3G Booklet, Sony is saying that its Vaio X is capable of running all-day. Although it is yet to be known how many hours Sony is referring to when it says all-day computing power.

With such a machine boasting of long battery life, it naturally follows that the Vaio X will be loaded with an Intel processor. Which kind? We don’t really know yet. Even its specs and features remain to be a mystery.

One thing we can be sure of at this time is that the Sony Vaio X will definitely have a higher price than most 11-inch machines that we heard of before.
