Just when we thought that Sony has already given up on its Sony Vaio P Mini notebook since it has decided to come up with a “real netbook” this time, words on the stree is reporting that Sony still hearts its Vaio P. Techradar is reporting that Sony will be giving this mini notebook a new lease in life via an upgraded model scheduled for release sometime in October.

This new iteration of the Sony Vaio P, or “mark 2″ to be exact will have a faster boot-up time and perhaps a better pricing scheme. If you still remember, one of the reason which probably cause the Vaio P not to hit it so well in the market is its high price.

So, hopefully Sony has learned its lesson and come up with a competitively priced Sony Vaio P. Better still, hopefully Sony would reconsider the announced pricing of its first netbook – the Sony Vaio W.
