Sony unveil their first Ultrabook
While other manufacturers have been producing and releasing ultrabooks for a while now, Sony have announced their first entry into the ultrabook market. The Sony VAIO T13 will feature a 13 inch display, with HDMI and VGA connection ports, along with a RJ45 network port and SD/MMC memory card slot. The Sony VAIO T13 ultrabook will also feature xLOUD which has recently been added to Sony Xperia mobile phones, along with Clear Phase to make listening to music, or watching movies on it a joy.
The chassis is made of aluminium and magnesium making it thin and light weight. Other features of the T13 include Rapid Wake, allowing the ultrabook to wake within seconds and will feature Eco functions. The VAIO T13 will be powered by an Intel Core i3 processor and 4GB of DDR3 RAM and run Windows 7 64bit. Graphics wise, the ultrabook will include Intel HD Graphics 3000.
Pricing and availability is currently unknown but, we could see the Sony VAIO T13 hit the market as early as next month.
