If you are a netbook enthusiast, you have probably read about Engadget’s scoop on the first live photos of  what could probably be the Sony Vaio P netbook (or ultraportable or whatever you may want to call it) which they’ve taken at the CES.

One noticeable feature of the Sony netbook is a circular hole located on the upper right hand side of its bezel. It looks like a webcam, although I doubt if Sony would be smart enough to put it on the side. This made the netbook’s display screen stretched upward, probably to give a widescreen look.

At any rate, the CES is about to start any hour from now, so we should watch for Sony’s announcement pretty soon.
