SOTEC to Release the 10-inch DC101 Netbook

SOTEC, a Japanese electronics company, is another player in the already saturated netbook market. The company is set to launch the SOTEC DC101, a 10.1-inch netbook on October 3 in Japan.

The SOTEC DC101 is another Atom-powered netbook and features the following specs and details:

• 10.1-inch LCD LED back lighted screen (1024×600)
• 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU
• 1GB RAM
• 120GB HDD
• 1.3MP web camera
• memory stick/MMC/SD slot
• 3 USB ports
• WiFi
• Windows XP

The SOTEC DC101 will be availablein black or white color design. No words yet on pricing and release date.
