Starling Netbook Preloaded with Ubuntu 9.04

It didn’t take System76, a company well known for being a staunch supporter of Linux OS to come up with their netbook that is so special because of the fact that it comes preloaded with the recently released Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix. The netbook is called Starling Netbook. So, if you’ve been wanting to have Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix on your netbook but doesn’t have the courage to install it on your own, you might as well buy this netbook instead.
Specs-wise, Starling Netbook can pretty much compete with netbooks available in the market today. It’s got your usual 10.1-inch LED widescreen LCD, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, WiFi, webcam, 6-cell battery and an almost full size keyboard. The Starling Netbook weighs 2.6 lb.
The Starling Netbook is available now at the System76 website. It will set you back for $359. Not bad, considering that it saves you the trouble of downloading Ubuntu 9.04 and making USB bootable drive to install it on your netbook.
