Netbook News recently stopped over my hometown and reviewed a few local netbooks in the Philippines over at Gilmore IT Plaza. Check out the links for the full video reviews
Most of these units are Taiwan-sourced and rebranded for the local market. From experience, there are more netbooks to be found in a place near Chinatown that sells all sorts of shanzhai gadgets but I’m guessing you’ll have to brave the crowds there since it’s really packed this time of year.
