MSI, the producer of the popular Wind U100 netbook, have announced that they will also be producing the Wind U120 within the upcoming months, according to an interview with the head of sales at MSI in Laptop Magazine.

Unlike the Wind U100, the U120 will be capable of supporting 3.5G wireless networking. The U120 will share the screen size of 10 inches with it’s older sibling. Storage will be covered with a hard drive (of between 20 and 40 gb’s according to the interview) as opposed to SSD however, MSI will provide SSD in the future. Further details are sketchy but, this is exciting news from MSI and their new netbook is expected to cost under $600 on release although, details arent confirmed yet.

Finally Dell’s mini netbook that we told you about not so long ago now has a branding name attached to it - hold your breath folks - the “Dell E.” Engadget is running an exclusive about the Dell E and mentioned the following “unofficial” features and specs.
The Dell E would have the following features and specs:
- 8.9-inch LCD
- larger flash storage
- webcam
- Bluetooth
- possibly WiMAX features
And the most exciting part, the price. Fortunately for us consumers, the Dell E would only cost $299. We really can’t wait for the official announcement coming from Dell.

It looks like BenQ’s soon to be released MID is becoming more and more like the Asus Eee PC. ITechnews is reporting that the BenQ MID which was previewed during the IDF in Shanghai would have:
- 800 MHz Intel Silverthorone processor
- Poulsbo chipset
- 512 RAM
- 4GB SSD
- HSDPA support
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g
- Bluetooth EDR connectivity
- Voice command
- GPS feature (optional)
Hmm, yeah. except for the voice command and the HSDPA support, the BenQ MID does seem like the Asus Eee PC after all.
