Mobicip, a company which specializes in creating safe, secure and educational online experience geared specifically for children is currently beta testing a web-based parental control service that would track Internet usage of children and ensure that they are protected from inappropriate content.
Mobicip uses four stages of content filtering technology. It blocks inappropriate content and tagged photos even on allowed websites, hence putting you at ease when your children are browsing the Internet.
The service would $9.99 per year, and for that price you can also use a website that can track Internet surfing history and adjust the parental control you imposed on your children’s Internet surfing using your netbooks.
Mobicip adheres to the Federal Child Information Protection Act CIPA Requirements, so you are pretty much sure that the service they provide are pretty realiable.
No words yet on when the Mobicip will be available to the public, although its iPhone and iPod touch version is already available.
