Raon Digital’s Everun Note, More Powerful than Netbooks, As Expensive as UMPCs

]]> Raon Digital has been teasing us with their 7-inch netbook/UMPC machine, Everun Note, for quite some time now. Like we reported before, this ultraportable is not your usual Atom-powered netbook, but not as powerful as your usual Ultra-Mobile PCs (UMPCS). We have to emphasize those points as early as now.

If we have to consider the current crop of netbooks with their Atom Processors, the Everun Note certainly won’t pass for a netbook with its AMD Turion 64 x2 processor. But if we have to consider the size of its LCD display which is a 7-incher, then the Everun Note could more than pass up for a netbook.

But then, we also must take into consideration its price, which is said to be around $879. Not as pricey as most UMPCs but certainly more expensive than most netbooks around.

Anyway, here’s a quick rundown of the Everun Note’s specs and features:

  • 1200 MHz AMD Turion 64 x2 CPU
  • ATI RS690E Graphics
  • Windows XP OS
  • 7-inch (1024×600) display
