There you go, another Eee PC netbook decided to show itself up in Japan, this time bearing the name Eee PC 10003 HAG.  And before you get excited about this netbook, bear in mind that the rest of us might not see it in our local netbook markets since it was made to be used only in Japan. 

Why so? That’s because the Eee PC 1003HAG is equipped with an internal wireless WAN module or WWAN which supports NTT DoCoMo’s FOMA network. Hence it is capable of providing our Japanese friends with 7.2mbps download speed aside from the usual WiFi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity. 

The rest of the Eee PC 1003HAG’s specs are pretty much our standard netbook fare. These include Intel Atom N280 CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 10.1-inch WSVGA screen, integrated graphics,  4.3-hour battery life, and 1.3 webcam. 

The Eee PC 1003HAG will go for around $722 in Japan sometime on May 16. Our Japanese friends would have a choice among the black, white or pink models.
