<p>Recently, First International Computer&#8217;s CW001 Mini-Note was <a href="http://redirectingat.com?id=2234X572204&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.engadget.com%2F2008%2F12%2F31%2Ffics-10-4-inch-cw001-mini-note-splashes-down-in-fcc-database%2F&sref=rss">spotted</a> at the <a href="http://redirectingat.com?id=2234X572204&xs=1&url=https%3A%2F%2Ffjallfoss.fcc.gov%2Foetcf%2Feas%2Freports%2FViewExhibitReport.cfm%3Fmode%3DExhibits%26amp%3BRequestTimeout%3D500%26amp%3BcalledFromFrame%3DN%26amp%3Bapplication_id%3D816584%26amp%3Bfcc_id%3D%2527EUNCW001-01&sref=rss">FCC site</a> (Dated Dec. 31, 2008). And since we&#8217;re pretty much sure what happens next when a gadget device arrives on the FCC database, expect to see FIC&#8217;s CW001 Mini-Note to start arriving soon on U.S. stores.</p>
<p>Before we get into the specs of the CW001 Mini-Note, may we remind you that FIC owns a majority stake in Everex, which if you remember has the Cloudbook netbook right under its collar.</p>
<p>Anyway, the FIC CW001 Mini-Note will have the following specs:</p>
<ul>
<li><span style="text-decoration: line-through;">10.4</span>-10.1 inch (1024&#215;600) resolution display</li>
<li>2GB RAM</li>
<li>1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU</li>
<li>optical drive</li>
<li>1.3MP webcam</li>
<li>HDD</li>
<li>WiFi, Bluetooth</li>
<li>Windows XP</li>
<li>4 cell Li-ion battery (which gives you 4.5 hours of battery life)</li>
</ul>
<p>Of course, we are really interested to know when and for how much this netbook would be available. But the FCC documents won&#8217;t certainly give us those information.</p>
<p>Update: Check out the <a href="http://redirectingat.com?id=2234X572204&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fic.com.tw%2Fproduct%2Fcw001.aspx&sref=rss">FIC Taiwan site</a> for more details about the CW001.</p>
