So we’ve read the specs of the upcoming netbook/CULV notebook from HP and we’ve seen the machine in action handling Call of Duty 4 smoothly, now it’s time to see it up close and personal. The lucky folks at Blogeee have got hold of the upcoming HP Mini 311 and have taken many photos of it.

Firstly, while it is noted as the HP Mini 311, the actual branding on the netbook is that of Compaq who HP took over. In the photos, Blogeee have captured each side of the netbook, along with a look at under the battery. Also thrown in are a couple of photos showing it with the Samsung NC10.

One of the most highly-awaited netbooks from MSI’s stable of 10-inch Winds is the MSI Wind U115 Hybrid. The word Hybrid in its name comes from the fact that it will have both an SSD and a hard drive for storage (though the SSD will be used primarily for the netbook’s OS). And besides which, the MSI Wind U115 also boasts remarkable battery life. A recent test even showed us that it can run up to 14 hours — on a single charge.
