If you’re still looking for a nice little netbook to purchase and couldn’t decide which to get from the plethora of netbook choices that you have, these two netbook reviews might help you decide.

The first one is CrunchGear’s review of the HP Mini 1000 Mi Edition. This is one of the my choices when I was planning to get a new netbook. The HP Mini 1000 Mi edition runs the Ubuntu Mi OS and costs around $479.99.

CG declares that the HP Mini 1000 Mi Edition is a great little machine with its OS as a primary selling factor because it is simple to use and straight forward. For its bad side, the HP Mini 1000 Mi edition despite having the limited OS still cost higher than its XP version.

Check out CrunchGear’s blow by blow account of the HP Mini 1000 Mi Edition review here.

The other review that we mentioned is Laptopmag’s review of the Emtec Gidium Liberty 1000 netbook. Like the HP Mini 1000 Mi, the Gdium Liberty 1000 does not sport the standard Windows XP OS, but has a Linux flavor for its OS instead. It also doesn’t have the usual Intel Atom processor but rather a MIPS processor and a 16GB Flash drive which is called the G-Key.

Laptopmag points out to the fact that by straying away from the usual specs and standards of netbooks, the Gdium Liberty 1000 netbook suffered from slow performance and short battery life.

Check out Laptopmag’s full review here.
