Recently WePad changed it’s name to WeTab and was supposed to start shipping from June in Germany. Amazon however are notifying customers who pre-ordered the device that it won’t be shipping in June. Instead it should start shipping from September 19th, three months late.

The WeTab features a multi touch display, measuring 11.6 inches, with a resolution of 1366×768, as well as a 1.3 megapixel web camera, HDMI output, Bluetooth and 2 USB ports. It will also support Wi-Fi a, b, g and n.

Originally, MSI were to release their Wind U160 netbook in Germany in gold. However NetbookNews have received an email from MSI, saying this isn’t the case any more. Instead, only the black model will be available within Germany. For those in Austria and Switzerland, it’s also the same, only the black model will be released.

Release date of March appears to be the same though. The U160 features the new Pine Trail CPU, along with a 10 inch display. It’ll retail for 349 Euros.

Intel Atom N450, aka Pine Trail is making it’s way to many netbooks, with most manufacturers announcing new models to include the latest processor. To boost sales of older models and empty the stock, Cyberport, an online German company are offering 10 Euros off netbooks until the end of February. The offer applies to netbooks with the following processors: N270, N280, Z530.

While there may occasionally be better offers around, this one applies to more than one or two models and for more than a few days. With it lasting until February 28th, there’s plenty of time to decide whether to get a new netbook or not. Depending on stock levels of course.

Some ladies in Germany who may still be eyeing the pink and uber-girlified HP Mini Vivienne Tam Edition netbook won’t have to be waiting for a chance any longer. Already widely available in other parts of the world since last year, this feminine netbook is now listed for sale by none other than Amazon Germany. The overall specs are the same, so that means it’s equipped with a 10-inch screen, Intel Atom processor, and a floral decoration on its outer lid. In the U.S., it is available from HP’s web site for $699.99. Amazon Germany is offering it for only 499.23. Euros (equivalent to $677 USD, which makes it at least $20 USD cheaper than in the U.S.). The Samsung NC10 might be getting a new paint job, but let’s not forget that an entirely new netbook will soon be coming to a computer store near you. The one I’m talking about is the Samsung NC20, which as you might have guesses is the proper successor of the earlier mentioned netbook. Reportedly, it is already available in places like Germany and Ukraine, costing about 499 Euros or $659 USD. Of course it is at least $100 more expensive than the Samsung NC10, but that’s primarily because it has a bigger screen, among other things. The earlier reported release date of this netbook is supposed to be on February, but it doesn’t hurt that it’s been made available early, at least in some places.
