Gigabyte has been true to its word on including its mobile computers at CES, the P2532F and Booktop M2432 notebooks.

Now, two more powerful mobile personal computers are making their way to the spotlight, the 14-inch Booktop M2432 and the 15.6-inch P2532F.

The Booktop M2432 features an Intel Core i5 central processing unit with an NVIDIA GT 440 1GB GDDR5 graphics, paired with Intel GMA HD 3000 graphics, THX TruStudio Pro audio technology and two speakers. Six USB port, HDMI, D-Sub and a DVI output can be found as well.

Furthermore, the announcement noted the ability of this thin and light notebook to turn into “a powerful desktop with a unique docking station.”

The other notebook, the P2532F, is a Full HD model (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) with clearly superior specifications, such as the 2nd generation Intel Core i7 2670QM processor, supported by 8GB of RAM DDR3. The P2532F has 750 GB HDD storage, running at 7,200RPM. The system also has an NVIDIA GeForce GT55M dedicated graphics, with 2 GB of VRAM for better gaming and video playback. There are also two USB 3.0 connectors on the side of the notebook, along with an HDMI output, LAN, audio in/out, dual-channel stereo speakers, a woofer speaker (THX TruStudio Pro technology).

People can get a look at these new comers at Gigabyte’s booth at CES 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada(January 10-13).

Gigabyte is known for producing convertible tablet-style netbooks for quite a few years now. Although a bit bulkier, they look like a regular netbook. However, the displays are attached to the base of the computer with a swivel rather than two hinges. This way, the screen can be rotated up to 180 degrees and it can be folded down over the keyboard to use the computer as a tablet.

Apreviously unannounced Gigabyte netbook hits the FCC website this week. The Gigabyte T1006 looks like a minor update to the company’s latest convertible.Looking at it closer, you will find out that the key difference is the Intel Atom Cedar Trail chip.

It’s not clear, though, which new Intel Atom processor the T1006 will have. The user manual suggests that the computer uses Intel GMA 3650 graphics.

Other specifications include:

a 10.1 inch display with a capacitive multitouch touch panel

1366 x 768 pixel or 1024 x 600 pixel screen resolutions

a 2.5″ hard drive bay

a DDR3 memory slot

802.11b/g/n WiFi

Bluetooth 2.1

optional 3G

USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0/eSATA combo port, and a standard USB 2.0 port

HDMI and D-Sub

Ethernet

a flash card reader

1.3MP camera

a built-in mic

stereo 1.5 Watt speakers

a 6 cell, 56.61Whr battery

measures 10.4″ x 8.4″ x 1.6″ and weighs 3.26 pounds.

Price is note yet available for this product.

Those Honeycomb tablets from Asus, Acer, Motorola and Samsung are looking mighty fine, but if you prefer to have an operating system that’s closer to the desktop than anything else, you might want to take a look at the Gigabyte S1080 tablet PC. Unlike some other tablets that have been announced and released in the market recently, the Gigabyte S1080 doesn’t run iOS or Android. Instead, it uses Windows 7. As you can imagine, using the Gigabyte S1080 would be like using a laptop without the keyboard. That is the very definition of a touchscreen equipped tablet computer, after all.

Although Gigabyte is better known in the desktop computing space as a producer of excellent and highly durable motherboards, they have set their foot on the tablet market to try and give users what they need: a real mobile computer with desktop grade programs instead of applications that usually can’t be used for real work. The innards of the Gigabyte S1080 contain an Intel Atom N570 dual core CPU and a 320GB hard drive. Its screen measures 10.1-inches diagonally and it weighs a hefty 895 grams. If the weight seems too much, this is because the Gigabyte S1080 uses a larger battery in order to power its Intel processor.

It is said that the Gigabyte S1080 will come out in the US and Taiwan soon, and the retail price is expected to hover around 700 Euros or about $1,000 USD. It’s a bit more expensive than other tablets you can buy, but then again, it’s just not the same as any of those other devices either.

We’re not sure why Gigabyte decided not to bring its new Gigabyte S1080 Windows 7 Slate at CES 2011. Instead, Gigabyte unveiled the said tablet in Taiwan. Anyway, in case you’re interested with a Windows 7-powered tablet well then you might want to check out the Gigabyte S1080 Slate.

Said Windows 7 Slate features a 10.1-inch screen and is powered by an Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor. According to Stephen Lee, Director at Gigabyte Notebooks, the S1080 Slate is the ultimate mobile device to fit the demanding needs of consumers who need a high-performing multitasking slate.

“With the S1080, users now have constant access to all their business needs including email, internet and other important applications.”

The Gigabyte S1080 Slate weighs in below 0.90kg, sports a sleek and light form factor, and comes packed with a 320GB built-in storage. It also supports USB 3.0, VGA port, and a capacitive multi-touch display with on-screen keyboard. Of course it also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth. Plus a built-in 1.3MP webcam should give your videoconferencing fix.

Release date in Taiwan is next month with a street price of around $300. Now, that’s reall something to look forward. Hopefully, Gigabyte decides to bring this to the international market.

The Gigabyte T1005M looks pretty much like any other 10 any netbook. That is until you see what it can really do. The Gigabyte T1005M is a convertible netbook, meaning the screen can be folded over, turning the T1005M netbook into the T1005M tablet. The screen features a capacitive multi touch display.

It comes with a 10.1 inch display but, unlike other netbooks on the market, it features a higher resolution of 1366×768 making many more apps much more compatible. Processor wise it features Intel’s dual core Atom processor, the 1.5GHz N550. The hard drive, RAM and other components are easily upgraded via easy access panels, which isn’t unknown for netbooks but, is an added bonus. We also see an eSata port on the T1005M as well as USB 3.0 ports. Another change from the norm, is that the touchpad buttons are on the left and right of the trackpad instead of underneath.

The unboxing video below takes a look at the hardware of the Gigabyte T1005M, as well as what’s in the box, which includes a cleaning cloth and a case for the netbook. You can pick the Gigabyte T1005M convertible netbook up for $640 from Amazon.

How does a notebook that can not just be used as a tablet PC but a desktop as well sound to you? Believe it or not, there is such a product and it’s made by Gigabyte – the Booktop T1125.

The Gigabyte Booktop T1125 features an 11.6-inch touchscreen panel, Intel Core i5 or i3 ULV CPU, NVIDIA Optimus Technology, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, THX-certification and four dual-channel stereo speakers.

You can use the Booktop T1125 as a standard notebook, a tablet PC, or a desktop via it’s own docking station. It looks good on pictures. We wonder how this actually performs.

The T1125 is scheduled to launch later in November with a suggested retail price of US$1,299.

Perhaps the reason behind there not being much of announcement is due to the outdated specifications used on the netbook. The Gigabyte Q1105M comes with an Intel Pentium ULV processor and Intel GMA 4500 graphics. The choice of battery is also disappointing, with the Q1105M only coming with a 3 cell battery.

If that isn’t enough to put you off though, the rest of the specs seem quite standard. It comes with an 11.6 inch display and a 1366×768 resolution, 2GB of RAM and either a 250GB hard drive, or a 320GB hard drive. It also has the usual connectivity options of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 10/100 LAN. It also comes with a VGA camera, HDMI out and Windows 7 Home Premium.
