Still looking for a nice little netbook with the HP brand until now? How about the HP Mini 1101? No, we’re not talking about the low-powered standard spec’d HP Mini 1101, but more powerful one courtesy of some upgrade options being currently offered by HP on its online store.

That’s right folks, you can now opt to buy a new pre-configured HP Mini 1101 with 6-cell battery and a choice between a 32GB SSD or 3G module. Plus of course the other features of the standard HP Mini 1101 that include a 10.1-inch display, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD and Windows XP. The catch? It will set you back for a whooping $600 though. The current price tag of pre-configured HP Mini 1101 is currently $329, while the cheapest customized version is priced at $427.

So, you decide whether the 6-cell battery option and 32GB SSD is worthy of the extra bucks you’ll spend for the HP Mini 1101. Or you may sit back, relax and wait until HP decides to add in some more nifty features to the HP Mini 1101. If not, head over to the HP Online Store.

It was only a couple of days ago when news of HP’s new mini netbook models started hitting the web and HP is now accepting orders for the HP Mini 1101. As you all know this new HP Mini baby doesn’t offer that many difference from the previous 1100 models except for a Broadcomm accelerator chipset which will be useful for decoding HD video up to 1080p resolution. That means a pretty decent improvement on your video watching experience despite the netbook’s mini screen.

Aside from that you’ll get a standard 1.6GHz Atom n270 CPU and the rest of the standard HP Mini netbook specs and features including

  • 10.1-inch diagonal HP Illumi-Lite LED SD (1024×576 resolution)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 160GB HDD
  • 3-cell battery
  • VGA webcam

All that for $369. And if you order now, you’ll get a spanking new HP Mini 1101 by June 7.  Alright time to hit this link to enter your pre-orders folks.
