I think “incredible” would be the only fitting way to describe the MSI Wind U115’s battery performance. When it was showcased at CES in Las Vegas earlier this year, MSI promised that the netbook will give up to 10.5 hours of battery life. Well, a test at Eee-PC.de shows that the company wasn’t joking, and in fact, the Wind U115 was able to give up to a little over 14 hours of juice non-stop, all in a single charge of the bundled 5200 mAh battery. If you don’t believe it, I don’t blame you — this is easily something I’d call unbelievable. But all of it is good news, though, because a new bar has been set when it comes to a netbook’s battery life. Check out Eee-PC.de’s post via the link below for the full details.

Asus, like most of us, likes to show off sometimes. In a new promo video for their Eee PC line of netbooks, the company talks about how ridiculously long battery life can help the consumer in more ways than one. From being able to hang out and compute in places almost completely unimaginable, to connecting with loved ones from the other side of the world, the Eee PC has what it takes to deliver. The point Asus makes is clear: their netbooks have long battery life, and thus users will be able to do more of what they need to do, when they need to do it. Watch the video to see what I’m talking about.
