As the rumors for the next iPhone about the LiquidMetal casing Apple would incorporate have been circulating these past few weeks, and so the rumors for the next MacBook model for this same casing as well allegedly built.

According to an anonymous source, Apple is planning to include LiquidMetal casing for its new hybrid product. Nonetheless, the two devices that would about to merge are the well known MacBook Pro and MacBook Air that captured the interest of most techy consumers.

Hence, this would be a viable evidence of the previous report about Apple’s engaging to lighter models between 15 to 20% than its predecessors. The material is assumed to be sturdier as well as a more scratch resistant compared with the aluminum casing these MacBook models currently have.

Moreover, according to an allegedly source from one of Apple’s manufacturing partners, the new MacBook will equip by Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge processors. This means that the model would bring the standard USB 3.0 port to Macs for the first time.

Whatever would Apple include in its new Mac model, absolutely, again, this would be a sure hit in the laptop industry due to its amazing set of specs.

Since Apple products have been sweeping everywhere from any types of gender and ages in a visual and auditory way, then might as well move on to the “olfactory” or the “smell” aspect such as fragrance.

The names to mention are Gavin Bell, Jarrah de Kuijer and Simon McGlinn behind all the new MacBook Pro perfume. Air Aroma is the first fragrance supplier they can think of to collaborate with for its reputation in South France to provide glue, plastic, rubber and paper scent.

To start is first replicate the smell of unopened Apple through sending those to France. Next is professional perfume makers will be sourcing the replicated smell into fragrance samples. Afterwards, the laptop is sent back along with the scent made from Apple Macbook Pro.

However, the scent is exclusive only at the artists’ exhibition in Melbourne between the dates of April 20 and May 12. As one would expect for a scent based from an Apple Macbook Pro, no mass production is ever going to happen which also means it’s not available for purchase.

Lately, benchmark tests have been carried out to match up the Ivy Bridge processors from Intel against the Sandy Bridge CPUs currently featured in Apple’s MacBook Pro line.

The Ivy Bridge Core boasts of its i7 3820QM clocked at 2.7 GHz to a Turbo mode 3.7 GHz processor in combination with an Intel HD 4000 graphics chip. In the course of the assessment, CPU World reports exposes that the new HD 4000 integrated GPU breaks the existing Sandy Bridge HD 3000 graphics by 32% to 108%, depending on the test.

As the official release says: “Using 3DMark Vantage performance preset, the overall score for i7-3820QM was 4431, 103% higher than i7-2960XM’s 2179. The GPU score was 3483, 108% better than the older processor. Finally, using the OpenGL test in Cinebench 11.5, the HD4000 graphics scored 22.45, 32% better than the 16.98 scored by the HD3000 iGPU.”

The rumored launch of the Ivy Bridge takes place in the coming weeks, specifically, by the end of April. Prices remain uncertain but are rumored to start at 568 US Dollars.

Besides, Apple is said to overhaul its MacBook Pro as it gives its face a lift. The company is expected to introduce their new laptops as well as the new generation of all-in-one iMacs anytime soon.

Who else can start a competition but Apple? After an announcement with the company’s another innovation and updates of MacBook Pro line, the rest of the companies were up for the challenge. Apple’s MacBook Pro Slim indeed stirs up the competition in notebook space.

Then this is something considered as a reply from the other laptop companies other than Apple such as Acer, HP, Asus and Lenovo that they as well can produce and roll out new, ultra-thin laptops. This is an aggressive reply as one to describe for their aim to push for 15-inch ultrabooks.

However, while they are still at the verge of slimming down the overall thickness of their laptops, Apple continues their way on making their known sleek line of laptops to enhanced ultra-thin designs. It would not only be the reduction of the thickness but as well the control of the new space for additional battery cells and the vast changes of its internal structure.

Their previous models were known for their Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 Sandy Bridge processors, AMD graphics and platter based SATA drives. Now, definitely a lot can be expected in terms of new optimizations, enhanced performance and the looks.

Ultra slim notebooks are continuously booming in the present market. In fact, the mass production of Apple’s upcoming 15-inch slimmer MacBook Pro model is recently reported to be in the works. However, according to the upstream supply chain sources, Apple favors larger amount of orders for the 13-inch version of its famous ultrabook than the 15-inch Pros.

The 13.3-inch MacBook Pro will start the bulk production in June, stated by the source. Also, this exclusive panel size for an ultrabook often adopted by non-Apple makers for their usual first-gen ultra slim notebooks. With this, it is then anticipated that the 14 and 15-inch models will follow the major gains in the next market share; the source added.

Apparently, the 15-inch MacBook Pro is expected to get pleasure from the first capacity shipments between 100,000 and 150,000 units that will definitely rise in the near future knowing the Apple’s stand in the PC market.

Not only it is sexy, it is also equipped with Intel’s very own quad-core processors known as Ivy Bridge.

This very good news from Mac lovers came from Intel themselves and it might hit the market just before the end of April. According to CPU World, the Core i7, as well as the Core i7 Extreme models will be part of the release. More good news more the new iMac machine enthusiasts because these models just might be part of the launch but no specific details are released yet.

If everything goes as planned, then the sexier MacBook Pro will be in our hands sometime in Spring. Their processors from Intel are all getting ready, as well. This is a first for Apple to do away with optical disk drives. Now, it will be thru USB drive and their very own Thunderbolt port that the digital data will be delivered.

Think of clearer graphics, power in your hard drive and processors and you got the sexy MacBook Pro. This is going to be an exciting anticipation.

Most of us might just crack our piggy banks at as we hear the rumor spreading around, that Apple is planning to release a new, thinner 15-inch MacBook Pro by the end of April.

The new MacBook Pros are said to feature stronger CPU performance and larger storage capacity than their MacBook Air counterparts. Some even claimed that Apple will debut a new, thinner 15-inch MacBook Pro based on Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs.

According to reports, the new MacBook Pro would still be thinner than the different MacBook Air lineup. That was somewhat in contrast to a separate report that claimed Apple was to launch a new 15-inch MacBook Air in April, “effectively killing the Pro”. Whether Apple’s new 15-inch notebook is known as a “Pro” or an Air, the model has been rumored since last year.

Like the MacBook Air, it is expected to lack a built-in optical drive and Ethernet port, as Apple continues its push for digital distribution of software through the Mac App Store. Mounting evidence also suggests that Apple is preparing to upgrade its Mac displays to Retina Display quality and could do so as early as the next generation.

The next-generation MacBook Pro will have a revised design that scraps the optical disk drive. The result is a slimmer model that will come in 13-, 15-, and 17- inch sizes.

To compensate for the removal of the optical disk drive, Apple is giving the notebook more CPU power and storage capacity.

Production has been going on for a while, with shipments starting this month for an initial 100,000 to 150,000 units of the MacBook Pro. Eventually, this will rise to 900,000 units.

The move by Apple to refresh the image of the MacBook Pro is timely, especially in light of the impending launch of new notebooks carrying the new Ivy Bridge processor from Intel. These notebooks had been planned to be launched before Apple released the new MacBook Pro. However, delays in the shipping schedule of the processor have also held up the release of these devices.

Among the features of the new MaBook Pro are Thunderbolt, which offers a speedy connection between the notebook and peripherals, with rates up to 10 GB/s. Another feature is OS X Lion, which offers 250 new features such as full screen apps, Launchpad, and multi-touch functions.

The notebooks will sell at prices starting at $1199.

Few years ago when Apple has released its first MacBook Air, hence, awakened the rivalry among different producers. This year, however, the company is planning to reinvent MacBook Pro by adopting the same design traits of MacBook Air dominated for being the first popular choice of mobile consumers in terms of ultra slim notebook.

The redesigned MacBook Pro will have a new, ultra-thin body without its typical features such as optical disk drives and traditional hard drives in favor of lightweight models. This employs flash-memory based on solid-state drives, extended battery life, instant –on capabilities and rely distribution for software and media.

The company will focus first on the 15-inch model of MacBook Pro, and to be followed by the 17-inch version. With this, it is expected to implement eradication of the existing MacBook Pro designs. This is foreseen to be built around Intel’s forthcoming Ivy Bridge microarchitecture and mobile components.

With this year’s MacBook Pro revamp, the company will try to disrupt the notion that its products are more costly than those from rival PC makers. The newly redesigned MacBook Pros are expected to be released on April of this year. However, the prices of these products are still unknown because they’re still looking toward a $100 marketing subsidy from Intel to help drive prices down as much as 10% during the first quarter of 2012.

Can you recall your dusty two-year-old MacBook you store in one of those high shelves (you didn’t even want to allow your children to touch) just gathering dust there? Well, at least good news is coming from Apple; the company has decided to give a facelift on those 2010 models. The new EFI firmware update should work on MacBook Pro (early 2010) iMac (mid 2010) and MacBook Air (late 2010) models. The firmware adds support for Lion’s internet-based recovery mode –very useful for those optical drives-less Mac minis and MacBook Airs. The update allegedly should fix bugs on Air models, actually resetting if the power key was pressed instantly following booting from high sleep mode. If you’re craving for the new firmware — it’s already out there now.
