Following on from the HP Mini 1000 and HP Vivenne announcements, HP are also to release the Compaq Mini 700.

The Compaq Mini 700 will feature a 10.2 inch screen with flush glass panel and a resolution of 1024x600, an Intel Atom processor, wi-fi, bluetooth and an SD card slot. The Mini 700 comes in both a hard drive and SSD variant. The hard drive will have 60GB of space, while the SSD option will provide you with 8GB or 16GB of space.

The Compaq Mini will retail for £299, giving it a lower price tag than HP's other recently announced netbooks. The Mini 700 will be available from mid December.
