When Samsung put up the official product page of its new N110 netbook which we all know boasts of a 9.5 hours batter life, some online stores started accepting pre-orders as early as last week.

Buy.com has accepted pre-orders for the Samsung N110 with a price point at $441.99. While CompSource will be selling it a $450. Samsung’s official price tag for the N110 is at $458 which interestingly identified CompSource as an official disitributor. As always, Buy.com still came up with a better price.

Amazon doesn’t have a product page yet for the Samsung N110. It would be interesting to know how much the store will be selling this netbook once it reached their inventory.

So after learning about the NC310 here comes another netbook from Samsung this time with the name N110. We learned that this netbook is the official successor to the first Samsung Netbook that came out of the market – the NC10.

Anyway Laptopmag is running a comprehensive review of the said Samsung netbook.  And while the previous Samsung netbook we reported earlier boasts of some new features which are not present in the Samsung NC10, the Samsung N110 is almost the same in specs and features.

You’d still get the same Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, and Windows XP for its OS. Now, what makes the Samsung N110 different from the NC10 is the fact that it now has a six-cell battery which practically extends usage life up to 8 hours. The Samsung N110 also has an extended touchpad and a full-functioning keyboard.

Laptopmag’s final verdict on the samsung N110 – Samsung has created a near-perfect laptop courtesy of its ergonomic touchpad, 8 hours battery life. And you get all that for $469 which may be a little more than the Asus Eee PC 1000HE and the Acer Aspire One D150.
