Finding it hard to decide between the Asus Eee PC 1000H and the Samsung N120? You may already have an Eee PC 1000H lying around, and you’re looking forward to getting your hands on an N120 to see if it’s worth “upgrading” to it, but in case you just can’t wait anymore, Liliputing has posted several photos comparing the two 10-inch netbooks side-by-side. From this, we learn that while the Samsung N120 is a bit wider (and therefore bigger) than the Asus Eee PC 1000H, it’s actually quite lighter, which makes it better for carrying around. To make it even more fun, they also managed to take a video comparing the Samsung N120 with its little brother the Samsung NC10 which was released by Vodafone in Italy not so long ago.

Aside from the videos, Netbook Italia also noted that the Samsung N120′s 2.1 Speaker System with a subwoofer and pair of satellite speakers makes its sound quality comparable with some portable DVD player.

The Samsung N120 also comes with a neoprene protective case which is more elsatic and thicker that the one included with the Samsung NC10.

They also noted that the chassis of the Samsung N120 is more subtle and deep but with the same 1024×600 resolution of the NC10. However the big difference lies in the netbooks’ screen, opaque screen matte for the Samsung NC10 while the N120 sports an opaque looking screen.

Performance-wise, both netbooks are equipped with the same Intel Atom N270 CPU and Mobile 945GSE chipset and GMA 950 integrated graphics.

A few days after the Samsung N120 becomes available for sale at Amazon, Samsung is officially announcing its availability just now.  The Samsung N110 and N120 are now officially available through Samsung.com and other online retailers with retails prices of $469 and $459 respectively.

Both the Samsung N110 and N120 sport the following features and specs:

• Intel Atom Processor N270 (1.60GHz, 533MHz, 512KB)
• Genuine Windows XP Home (SP3) operating system
• 1GB  memory
• 10.1″ WSVGA (1024 x 600) SuperBright Glossy Backlit Display
• 160GB  HDD
• 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate
• 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet
• 3-in-1 Card Reader (SD, SDHC, MMC),
• Three USB 2.0 ports
• Headphone-out,/Mic in; Integrated Mic

• 1.3 Megapixel Web Camera

As for their difference, the Samsung N110 has a 6-cell (5900mAh Lithium ion battery which can max out up to 9 hours usage, while the Samsung N120 only has the 5200mAh variant which could last up to 6 hours of usage.

The Samsung N120 also has a 97% full-size keyboard, and also has an added subwoofer for an added sound boost.

Amazon.com have Samsungs new N120 in stock. IMHO there is nothing special about  this model, the same specifications as most of the netbooks, and the price is quite high ($466).

So, make Samsung’s upcoming netbook count to three. Aside from the N110 and the NC310, we now have another Samsung netbook to anticipate the N120.  So, what makes the Samsung N120 different from the other netbooks? Two things – a longer battery life and full-sized keyboard.

Whereas the N110 boasts of 8 hours battery life as tested by Laptopmag, the N120 even offers a longer battery hours up to 10 hours at max. In addition, its 10.1-inch screen the Samsung N120 boasts of a full-sized keyboard big enough that you’d think that you are actually using a full-sized 12-inch notebook.

Other features of the Samsung N120 include:

• Integrated SRS 2.1 ch system
• 1.28kg
• 1.3 webcam
• 3 USB port
• card reader

No words yet on the RAM capacity, specific CPU and storage capacity of the Samsung N120 as well as its price. But we heard that it will be out as early as next month in the US, Europe and Asia.

So this is really something to watch out for.
