Gigabyte have released another model in their TouchNote T1028 line. The original netbook featured a 10 inch display with a resolution of 1024 X 600. But a newer high resolution model is now available. The Gigabyte TouchNote T1028X features an impressive 1366 x 768 resolution on it’s 10 inch display. It also features the Intel Atom N280 CPU.

DigiTimes explains that many netbook makers will also be releasing touch screen models next year, but until then we’ve only got the TouchNote by Gigabyte and a tablet style netbook from Asus. Liliputing points out that, as of yet, Asus only have an 8.9 inch display model, with the regular netbook resolution, making the T1028X the only 10 inch touch screen netbook available on the market. These features do come at a price though and you’ll be looking at $678 from Amazon, or $698 direct from PC Micro Store.
