Originally, MSI were to release their Wind U160 netbook in Germany in gold. However NetbookNews have received an email from MSI, saying this isn’t the case any more. Instead, only the black model will be available within Germany. For those in Austria and Switzerland, it’s also the same, only the black model will be released. [...]

MSI has already put up the official webpage of the U160 Pine Trail netbook and it sure is flashy. The marketing blurb states it as “The Ultimate Allure, Crafted to Perfection.” Some of the features being upsold are the ultra slim design (< 1″), the sparkling and scratch-resistant coating and the 15 hour battery life.
