Even before the CES is scheduled to start next week, reports have shown the company’s two new lined tablets coming in the slate market. According to Velocity, the Cruz Tablet T507 and Cruz Tablet T510 will both feature the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. However, it seems that the two tablets would be lacking the Android Market and placed a built-in access to Amazon Appstore instead.

Both tablets will outfit with 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, a Mali 400 graphics, 8GB memory storage, a front-facing camera as well as HDMI output and supported by Adobe Flash Player 11. The Cruz tablet T507 is said to be on a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display and will be having a 512MB RAM. While the Cruz tablet T510 will be on a 9.7-inch capacitive touchcreen display with 0.35-inch thickness. There’s no screen resolutions mentioned but more or less, the T507 will go with 800×480p and the T510 will likely be on a 1024×768p 4:3 screen.

The Velocity Cruz T507 will cost for bout $150 while there’s no final price for the Cruz T510 yet. Only at CES you will find added factual info about these two tablets. So keep an eye on it.

Cruz is the premier brand of Android based tablets from Velocity Micro. Cruz tablets are designed with attention to detail and expert craftsmanship that have made Velocity Micro famous amongst PC enthusiasts. Velocity Micro now offers 8″ and 10″ capacitative touch tablets: the Cruz T408 and Cruz T410.

The T408 features front facing camera, Android 2.3, 802.11n WiFi, 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD card slots, and a premium software suite. It also has a fully licensed version of Adobe Flash Player 10.3. T408 is available for only $199.99.

The T410 has a larger screen (10″ compared to T408′s 8″ screen) but it’s nearly identical to T408 when it comes to features and its capacities. The Cruz T410 runs $299.99.

Though both tablets run Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread, neither comes with access to the Android Market. Instead, you get the Amazon Appstore as well as some other preloaded apps and Amazon Kindle eBook app.

The tablets feature volume and power buttons but there are no buttons for home, menu, or back functions. In replacement to physical buttons, there’s a toolbar at the top of the screen with soft buttons for the aforementioned functions.

They may not have the fastest processor nor with the highest resolution in the market but Cruz tablets are small and light; they work pretty well for reading eBooks, surfing the web, or playing games.
