The Adax 7JC1 Is A $120 Tablet on ICS
The Adax 7JC1 is a new pocket-friendly tablet aimed at Polish customers. It carries a price tag of only $120. However, with that price, users get Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and a 7-inch LCD screen.
This budget device is powered by a dual-core Cortex A8 CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz and comes with Mali 400 GPU graphics. The latter ensures that users get not only excellent graphics but also the capability to play 3D games on the tablet. The tablet also has 512 MB of DDR3 RAM. Adax provides 4 GB of storage, but in case users need more, there is an integrated microSDHC card slot for adding up to 32 GB more.
Users can take part in video chats through a 0.3-megapixel web camera on the tablet’s front. A Wi-Fi radio also gives users access to the Internet, but should they prefer 3G, this fast connectivity option is available through n external dongle. The tablet comes with a 3300 mAh battery, a gyroscope, and HDMI output as well, allowing users to view content from the tablet on an HDTV.
Lastly, the tablet weighs 450 grams and is protected by an aluminum covering. The specifications are comparable to the MediaPad, another budget tablet by the Chinese company Huawei.
The combination of an affordable price and Ice Cream Sandwich would make this an attractive option for those looking for an entry-level tablet.
