From Android 1.5 Cupcake down to the endless list of different flavors has once again come up with a new Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich buzzing around phones and tablets. The NOOK Tablet CM9 alpha version 0.02 is out now but the question lies between the official or unofficial state of the update or release.

Officially, Android 4.0.4 updates are supported by CyanogenMod team but unofficial actions are slowly getting in the picture. As this weekend, Android 4.0 have reached the hands of the Barnes & Noble NOOK and so the release of Alpha 0.02. However, it comes in an Android 4.0.4?

As much as everyone wants to get hold of this latest NOOK Tablet CM9 alpha version 0.02, Perhaps, it might be too early for the release. If you happen to have used one of the original NOOK tablets, this particular model might not be as friendly as it is used to be. But at least efforts are being visible in for some serious progress.
