I’m not really fond of Archos and its PC Table product line.  But when Archos announced that the future of netbooks is its Archos 9 PC Tablet  I got curious to find out what this Tablet PC is as cool as what Archos described it to be.

So what are we looking at here? an 8.9-inch 1024×600 touchscreen display, Intel Atom 1.2GHz Atom Z515 processor, 1GB of RAM, 60GB of HDD and 25GB online storage, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and USB 2.0.

Did those sound appealing to you? If yes, well you’d be glad to know that the Archos 9 Tablet PC is now available for retail in the U.K. price tag is around $742.

Do you still think that it is a cool mobile device?

  1. Why wouldn’t they play it like Always Innovating, and sell an optional keyboard/netbook converting adapter?

I’d really like to see AI release a 10 inch version, with a little better hardware… Keep the price point under $600 and they’d be solid.
