The J3500 Slate Tablet PC Is One Tough Tablet

Motion Computing is a recognizable name in the tablet market and with the iPad widening the marketplace, they’re getting into it with a vengeance. Their J3500 is probably one of the more powerful and toughest tablets on the market. Sporting a 12-inch display and powered by either an Intel Core i7 or i5 processor, it runs on either Windows 7 or Window XP tablet edition. The great thing about this baby are the choices available: touch and pen input options are equally available. You can also have several options of what screen or processor to use. Network options are WiFi, Bluetooth or WWAN.
However, the biggest draw for the J3500 is the ruggedness of the tablet. The iPad is a fragile piece of machinery – the J3500 is not. Rain or shine, you’ll be sure that the tablet will keep on running. The use of View Anywhere technology assures you that you will be able to see the screen no matter what the conditions, while the Gorilla Glass display means you don’t have to worry about a fragile glass screen. All of this at just three and a half pounds.
The biggest problem with the J3500 is the price – this is a specialty machine and not a mass-market one like the iPad and with all those features, it has a hefty price tag. It sells for around $2,099 for the basic edition and higher-end models costs over $3000. Be assured though that the J3500 worth every cent.
