The Modbook Pro is set to release on October 3. It is one of those brilliant ideas of turning a Mac Book into a very impressive tablet. The device will be running OS X, the mountain Lion Tablet which is a Mac-based pen tablet computer and measures 13.3 inches.
The Modbook Pro has impressive features, comes on its standard 64 GB storage capacity and can be upgraded up to 480 gb of storage space. It is equipped with the digitizer from WACOM giving the pen 512 levels of pen pressure sensitivity. It contains the following specifications which make this such an impressive tablet. It is equipped with your choice of 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, or a 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, but both of which come with 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB SSD and Intel 4400 graphics.
But remember that this is not an Apple product, but a modified version of a product that was manufactured by Apple. This is something that the Modbook team has emphasized. “The Modbook Pro is an enclosure conversion kit designed to exclusively contain an original MacBook Pro base system manufactured by Apple Inc. Apple Inc.’s one-year warranty on the base system is voided by the conversion and replaced with the Modbook Pro Protection Plan, which covers the entire hardware solution, including the base system.”
