The Packard Bell Dot SE Hits Europe

Acer owns the Packard Bell brand so it seems to be no surprise that the latest Packard Bell model look remarkably like the new Acer Aspire One D255. It even features the same specs; it has a 10-inch screen and a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core CPU. The base OS is Windows 7 Starter Edition, which is pretty good. The netbook also has a gig of DDR2 memory and a 250GB hard drive. Battery life is set at 7.5 hours – a comfortable enough time to get your work done in the field.

The Packard Bell Dot SE is already available in Europe for 400 Euros. Since Acer already has the D255 in the US market, don’t expect this baby to hit US shores unless its been imported.
