The Tablet With A Keyboard: ZTE’s V7 MID

When you’ve thought you’ve seen it all, sometime’s the world just surprises you. ZTE, a China-based company, recently unveiled their V7 Mobile Internet Device and they’re innovating a bit. Yes, they’ve joined in on the tablet bandwagon with a touchscreen, but they’ve also included a separate keyboard so you won’t be pressing buttons on a screen when you’re writing your e-mail. Here are the technical specs:

Small, light and dependable – the V7 straddles the line between a smartphone and a tablet. That 4″ screen though won’t be doing it any favors; it rules out video playback, but with all the other features, especially the 3G and other connectivity options, I’ll expect it to perform admirably well in its niche.
