Though late for its release, Lenovo, will be making the  ThinkPad X130e notebook available for pre-order on the company’s website.

The notebooks will begin at $429. At this price, buyers will get this 11.6-incher, with 1366×768 resolution display and AMD’s dual-core E-300 Fusion processor clocked at 1.3GHz . The higher-end model will be priced at $549, sporting a 1.4GHz Intel Core i3 onboard . Users can spec up to 500GB of hard drive space and as much as 8GB of RAM. The base system weighs 3.9lbs.

Specs present on both models include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, an Ethernet port and both HDMI as well as VGA for video. The ThinkPad X130e also has a low-light webcam and best of all, it also includes a spill-resistant keyboard, a rubber bumper around the top cover as well as beefed up hinges, ports and corners.  These make the notebook most special when it comes to sturdiness.

Lenovo will start shipping the  ThinkPad X130e on February 9.
