Tired of fingerprints? Give that matte look to your Eee PC!
Shiny surfaces are good to look at and works in the favor of the manufacturer during showcase events. In real life though, it’ll be a big downer and will turn your pristine netbook into something you would fine in a car repair shop. It’ll have fingerprints and blemishes everywhere, from the palm rest to the lid.
There’s a cure though. Eeeuser member sharkexe was able to grab a matte film used in car dashboards and modified not one but two Asus Eee PC 1005HA-P for a full makeover. This mod isn’t for the average tinkerer though since you have to break open the chassis to apply it. Check out the pics below.
